Windows XP Backup

I can't find my Windows XP disk.  How can I backup my hard drive on my laptop.  I need to send it in for repairs to the manufacturer.  It's still under warranty

Thanks very much.  Sorry!!!  I'm new at this and not very computer literate.  Won't happen again.

You may also want to try out a program like Acronis True Image, that can make a full image backup of your computer.

    http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/

This way instead of reinstalling the os and all the files and all that, you can just reload everything onto the same hard drive, or a new hard drive. You will also be able to make DVD backups of your PC in case of failure.

I'm not sure if XP Backup can make a full backup, if I remember correctly the XP Backup only can back up the registry and files you select. I could be wrong about that, however.
