Windows XP won't boot up
I have a Dell Inspiron 600m. My computer won't boot up in any mode. I end up with a blue screen that says I have a Fatal system error.
Something like this
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error }
The Sesson Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).
Any help would be appreciated.
First thing: if there is data on the drive you need, and haven't backed up, purchase a 2.5" EIDE USB 2.0 drive case, mount the drive in it, attach it to a working system and make a backup.
The return the drive to the system, press F12 at powerup, boot to the Dell diagnostics, and run an extended - NOT just a quick - hard drive test.

Are you saying I can't get a drive larger than 120 G?

Thanks. The Dell diagnostics gives me an Error Code as follows :
--Start DST Short Test--
Test Results : Fail
Error Code:1000-0146
Mgs: Unit 0:DST Log contains previous error(s)
