Hi, I'm having problems activating my Windows Xp Home Edition with Microsoft:(

 

I've just re-formated my two year old Inspirion 1150, and after reinstalling windows I had to activate my product. I didn't think Dell users had to activate, but after some reading on this forum I found that the problem obviously is that I used a copied installation CD. I did this because I didn't recieve any installation cd from dell with my purchase.

 

Now that I try to activate I get the message that it is a wrong Product Key.

What is that all about?!

 

I am not living in the same house as I was when I registered the first time. Could this have any affect?

If anyone has some anwers or tips I'd be very gratefull:)
