Since I have 1 primary and 2 logical partitions (c,d, and e by Partitionmagic) currently with ME, can I delete these during XP install (assume delete the 2 logicals first then the primary partition), reformat the complete harddrive, and recreate these partitions to a slightly different size?

 

Second question.  If during this process I don't completely create a partition and mistakenly continue with the setup, would this do bad things or can I restart the setup? Just curious about a worse case scenario. 

 

From what I've read, the XP install is pretty straight forward, but the detail of deleting the previously created partitions is a real gray area for me. I'm envisioning somehow not completing the delete process and screwing up the install. Bad nerves I guess. I should have already had this done, but things came up at work.
