I recently purchased an XPS 400 desktop and included the optional 16X CD burner. I eventually found that it is an Hitachi LG device, but Dell doesn't list the mfg. part number. The assigned driver appears to be a generic Microsoft thing from 2001. I doubt that is optimal. Any suggestions on an appropriate driver update?
