T50 VNC keyboard issues

When I VNC into the T50 test unit we have it does not recognize the shift key (and probably other keys too) Therefore I am unable to start an RDP session while remote controlling the T50 because our passwords require capital letters and special characters. Is there a work around to this?

This happens if i use WDM to remote control or if i use the standalone VNC program on my computer.
