Windows username

I'm a newbie.

When I try to connect to my windows PC from my iPad there is a prompt requesting a windows username and password. I don't use a name or password on my computer. When installing Pocketcloud on my PC it asked for a name and password to startup the PC, but I declined. I don't want to restrict starting the computer with a name and password. 

The IPad detects the computer and says it is online.
