CD-ROM Register Fail errno=0

Getting an error when trying to redirect an external CD/DVD disk drive over USB via ThinOS 8.6.019-027 (Dell Wyse 3040). Same error message between versions.

The same device redirecting via Windows works so device drivers on the backend aren't an issue. I can post my full config if needed but the usb redirection settings are currently set to redirect everything (I then manage USB devices connecting in via PID/VID GPOs).

Has anyone else managed to get something like this or similar working?

Any help or tips appreciated. The CD/DVD player is listed on the approved list of USB devices so I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work.
