All:
I couldn't find the RGB color code for the Background color to use for a custom logo. A played with a few color combos and came up with (R-234 G-229 B-224) as the correct color.
At least I cannot see the borders on my entry level LCD.
Hopefully this helps someone.

Thanks! This was closer than I had previously gotten. I could still see the edge on my mid-range monitor. Further experimenting with your starting point, I think I got closer using 233,228,218
That might still be one number off, but I got tired of the very tedious process, of adjusting, saving, uploading, reseting, comparing, and repeat.
If anyone else wants to experiment further, it helps to look at it from well below the monitor, because somehow this makes this difference more obvious.
