HDMI Not working after update

Yesterday my XPS desktop told me I had updates and after I restarted, the screen never came back up using the HDMI. When I plug an HDMI into the video card HDMI, I get a RECOVERY screen asking Recover Bios or Reset BIOS Settings to default.

If I choose RECOVER it asks me to confirm them comes back with a message UNSUPPORTED

If I choose RESET BIOS it asks me to confirm and then if I want to Load Optimize Defaluts. When I choose YES it asks me if I want to save configuration and reset. The screen goes blank and goes back to the RECOVERY screen

What model XPS desktop do you have? What operating system are you running?

If you purchased the computer new, I am guessing it is an XPS 8930. From your description, I am guessing that the update was an attempt to update the BIOS and now that has failed and the computer is trying to recover. You may want to attempt the BIOS recovery steps in this article: https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-us/sln309785/bios-recovery-steps-for-a-no-post-issue-on-alienware-aurora-r5-r6-r7-r8-and-xps-8910-8920-8930-pcs?lang=en

If you wish to find out more about your computer you can enter the computer Service Tag on the Dell support site. Do not post your Service Tag here in this forum.

Windows 10

Not sure of the model as there is only an XPS marking on the front of the desktop. Bought in October of last year
