Help Needed please
Hi All,
I have a Dell XPS15 which was getting the DPC_Watchdog_Violation error message.
Now what is happening is I can't boot up as it is saying "Hard Drive not detected". I have removed the HDD and used it in another laptop and it booted and worked fine.
From everything I have read it seems to be either a HDD driver issue or a motherboard compatibility issue (it is the original HDD which came with the laptop though).
I have tried removing the HDD, removing the battery, holding the power key etc....
I have tried booting from an external USB to the Dell recovery tool (which loads but then can't find the HDD to install windows on).
I am happy to do a fresh install if needed but it seems I can't do anything unless I can get the motherboard to read/see the HDD???
Any ideas?
Cheers!

In Addition - I can load up the Dell recovery tool (from the USB) but when trying to install a fresh copy of windows it says that there is no drive for the cloud backup???
