how do i access the settings for the built in webcam (and get changes to stay changed) ?

hi.. recently purchased a dell xps 13.. love it.

however, the webcam default settings show me with quite a reddish hue.

i am having trouble finding how to access the settings.  eg. windows > settings > bluetooth & devices > cameras > OV01A only lets me control brightness, contrast, video hdr, automatic framing and eye contact.

i am able to get at more going in via xsplit vcam app, where i can reduce the saturation and then it looks better.  but every time an app uses the webcam, i have to do this.

1. is there a way to get at the full webcam settings directly?

2. is there a way to get changed settings to remain set?

thanks in advance,

les

This may sound odd, but in Windows 10 the place where Microsoft buried many webcam settings is in Skype application. You may by default have Skype installed. If not, install it.

Launch Skype. Your exact path/steps may differ somewhat as I am on Win10, perhaps with a different Skype version from you, and I am using the installed application rather than the MS Store app. In mine, you would reach the settings via this path:

Skype | Settings | Audio & Video | Webcam settings
