memory check-no bootable device

I have a dell xps laptop that was just purchased last November. 3 times now in the past couple weeks when I try to turn it on, I get a message saying it's doing a memory check. When the check is done, it said there was no bootable device found. I canceled out of the error and tried booting the laptop again and it booted up fine. I don't understand why I keep getting this memory check when trying to start the laptop.
