Next XPS 15 better have at least two USB-C/TB3 ports....

Dear Dell Product Planners and Engineers,

It is currently late 2019 and your XPS 15 7590, introduced this year, still only has a single USB-C/TB3 port.  That is disappointing and frustrating in this day and age, especially on the flagship model of your premium XPS line.  Having only one of those ports creates some very irritating limitations on the go, because it means that if I want to use a USB-C power source, I cannot also connect things like a DisplayPort display (via USB-C to DP cable), a USB-C/TB3 peripheral such as an external storage device, or even a multi-purpose adapter like Dell's own DA300.  Yes, I realize that the XPS 15 also has a dedicated AC adapter connector and that most USB-C power sources are undersized for the XPS 15's 130W requirement, but when I'm traveling, I like the fact that I can carry a USB-C power source and cable to cover multiple devices, and I might be willing to put up with lower performance in exchange for that convenience and efficiency.  But right now with your XPS 15, I have to choose between either carrying an additional bulky power adapter just for the XPS 15 or else putting up with connectivity restrictions like this.

Your most direct competitor to the XPS 15 is Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Extreme.  It has all of the same ports that the XPS 15 offers PLUS a second USB-C/TB3 port and even built-in Ethernet, and it has had that port setup since the first generation that launched last year.  That combination of ports enables quite a bit more connectivity scenarios on the road.  Not everyone will have a docking station available everywhere they go in order to run everything they need through that single USB-C/TB3 port.  Intel even makes dual port Thunderbolt 3 controllers, so this should not be a problem.

(Note: Please do NOT do what you've done with the recent XPS 13 models and drop all ports EXCEPT the USB-C/TB3 ports.  Having built-in HDMI and a pair of USB-A ports is a very useful setup for power users who actually plug things into their laptops rather than using wireless everything and who would prefer not to have a dongle for almost everything they'd want to plug in.  You just need at least one more USB-C/TB3 port.)
