I'm using Dell XPS 9570 and I faced with fingerprint problem. Sometimes, I can use normal and smoothly. But sometimes, I can not use it. I tried to install all the drivers from Dell but it has same issue. I attached the picture for you can see

The following link may help. It lists a number of possible solutions. One of the suggestions makes note that you have to be connected to the Internet for fingerprint Hello to work. I am not sure if you were aware of that.

Sorry, the picture will not show until the moderator approves it.

Thank you for your message. Was there any recent Windows, BIOS update or changes done?

Please restart the computer & tap F2 to get into BIOS. Click settings- Intel Software guard extension- Intel SGX Enable – Change to Enabled.

Note- if the option is already enabled, please disable it save changes restart the computer & go back & change the setting to enabled.

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
