Hi everyone,
What caused the issue?
The latest firmware update was not available to the servers globally. This is causing a download failure for you. The dongle firmware can end up in its bootloader state when the firmware update does not complete successfully. The dongle loses communication with the keyboard and mouse.
How to resolve?
Manually download and install the following firmware:
Download this .zip file: Standalone Bootloader FW Update Utility
Extract the .zip file to a temporary folder.
Open the temporary folder and right-click
Dongle_FWUpdateTool 0.1.2.6.exeand select Run as Administrator.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update.
Launch the Dell Peripheral Manager application.
Run the Firmware update process in DPM.
Go back to Step.1 and repeat them if the dongle is still having issues.
Contact us by clicking on the 'Get Help Now' chat feature located in the bottom-right corner of the page.

I have this problem with a Dell Universal Receiver.
My Dell Peripheral Manager lists the current software and driver versions as: -
Software version: 1.7.7
Driver version: 1.2.0.31
The home screen in Dell Peripheral Manager shows:
Bootloder VID : 1915, PID : 0101 (i)
If I hover over the information icon, I see:
Firmware version 0.0.0.1
In Settings > Updates I see:
Critical Updates
Firmware Update - Bootloder VID : 1915, OID : 0101
Version f.f.f.f

@SiO2y
I have the exact same problem as you have.
My keyboard & mouse aren't working anymore.
The USB dongle is registring in the device manager as a Universal Serial Bus device from Primax Electronics Ltd. It's name is nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR.
@Dell, please find a solution to our problem. Thanks !

@mehdi_mammadzada not yet. End-user can't solve this issue currently. :( Dell should provide a fix. But seems they don't care about this issue.

Dell needs to first verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Dell PC Service Tag and/or WR221 Wireless Dell Universal Pairing Receiver Dell order number with them.
* What Dell PC model?
* What BIOS version is installed on the Dell PC?
* What operating system?
* Specific Dell Universal Pairing Receiver model? e.g. WR221
* Did you have issues using DPM (Dell Peripheral Manager) 1.7.6? If not =
- Disconnect the WR221 from the PC
- Uninstall DPM 1.7.7
- Restart the PC
- Install DPM 1.7.6
- Reconnect the WR221 to the PC
* Go to Settings > Updates and try to run the firmware update. What happens?
If the issue is not resolved, share the below information with us =
Dell Universal Pairing Receiver model? e.g. WR221
DPM version failed running the firmware update?
Firmware update that was attempted?
Error Code?
Steps to reproduce:
We will share the information with engineering. Note: Ensure that the Dell system drivers are up to date.
