XPS 9500, Screen buggy while loadup
Hi guys,
I got an XPS 15 9500 delivered about 2 weeks ago. I have my power settings set to make the laptop go into hibernate when I shut the display so it doesn't drain as much battery while it's not in use. Whenever I open the display back up, there is a bootup period, and a "Dell" logo is shown. The top portion of the screen shows flickering white lines and circles every time I boot the machine out of hibernation.
The display doesn't seem to have any issues when I am using it, but the flickering lines during bootup make me nervous about the possibility of a physical defect with the display.
p.s.: I previously had a technician dispatch to address a previous problem I had with the trackpad and hinges. The hinge issue disappeared, but the trackpad is still an issue. Another dispatch is on its way to address the trackpad
Thanks for reading, hope I can get these problems solved because it is otherwise a very great machine.

Hello,
Do let us know if the flickering is persistent across all screens. Now if that is the scenario, it could be a issue with the LCD if it persists inside and outside the OS.
Also, do let us know if the drivers and firmware are up to date on the computer.
Regards,

Hello, just saw your response to my post. I am currently talking to tech support over the phone but I'll let you know how that turns out.
Thanks

Hi Aniketh,
Turned out to be a driver issue, I called support and they did a remote control process and got the screen issue fixed. But a couple of hours after that was fixed, I'm experiencing issues with the speaker. The speaker does not work, it makes loud buzzing noises whenever I play something. It does the same when connected to an aux cord. I'm getting frustrated as I've been having problem after problem.
