XPS 9720 heat dissipation problem
I have a XPS 9720 17" screen laptop. I also have a really disturbing heat dissipation issue. MY CPU reaches 95°C in idle. And 100°C just with chrome. My Cinebench R23 benchmark score is around 8000 while it should be around 14000 points.
I have never, and i mean NEVER, seen my laptop reach full load 100% of all its processors.
The best i have seen is around 30% and not even at full clock speed but at around 2500mhz.
So never 100% load at 5GHZ. Best case is 30% at 2.5GHZ, and this only for a little bit.
When i export many photos from lightroom or long videos from Davinci Resolve, it drops to around 15% at 2GHZ.
I have repasted the cpu/gpu twice already without any result. ZERO. One time with Noctua and the second time with Arctic mx6.
I know that maybe i have to send it back for repair and stuff like this but that means i have to stay without a computer for 2-3 weeks... That is just not going to happen. I have so much work daily in my hands and i can not afford to stay "on holiday" for 2-3 weeks because of DELL's fault.
WELL DONE DELL. Really. I am extremely disappointed with this laptop. I feel like i have a 899 euro laptop. I will be buying the ASUS PRO ART P16 as soon as i get my hands on 3500€.

I forgot... "good thing" it has the large vapor chamber for cooling. All i heard everywhere was vapor chamber, vapor chamber, vapor chamber, vapor chamber bla bla.
So much for a vapor chamber...
