Gather performance data on XtremeIO
Hi Guys,
Can any please help me in understanding how do I gather performance data of XtremeIO, cannot seems to find an option.
Its like how do I collect performance data of the week.
My second question is little vague, cause it depend upon customer to customer and usage, but are there any numbers EMC has provided on to mark the normal/major/critical points for IOs/throughput/Latency etc etc
Thanks
Kapil

Also, typical performance numbers to be expected from XtremIO are available in the product data sheet at www.XtremIO.com.

Experts--
How to collect the performance metrics to excel sheet for XtremIO devices. I have started the monitoring for few parameters, I can see the graph for those parameters. But I would like to collect it to present to my higher management. Is there any way that we can do it. Please let me know if you have any idea about this, Thanks for your time and response.
Thanks

You can try the export-performance-history command. It will display 1 week data with 5 second samples.

Thanks Avi for the quick response, It's very helpful. Just curious, can we pull the output of the manually created monitors in the same way or the other??. Thanks for taking time to help.

As the name suggests, this command will export the performance related data for the last 7 days. For example, write BW, read BW, write IOPs, read IOPs, write latency, read latency, average latency, etc.
Is there any specific metric that you were looking to export from the XMS?
