Max Mappings per Volume

Question

i am trying to understand the maximum Number of Initiator Groups mappings
per Volume

I have a customer who wishes to map the same volume to 33 ESX hosts but hits the error

"Maximum 64 mappings for volume reached"

Is the limit of 64 per initiator group, or per volume in total? If the latter then I assume there is no way to achieve what he is trying to do?

Hello paf23, The max is 64 per volume.  You are correct that what your customer is wanting to do, they will not be able to achieve it.
