About me

I am the Senior Director, Service and Storage Resource Management at EMC Corporation. I was hired into this position in August 2006 and report to Chris Gahagan, Senior Vice President, Resource Management Software Group. I oversee the development of EMC’s storage resource management products, specifically the ControlCenter family of products including Storage Scope, Performance Manager, and SAN Manager. I also oversee the development of the service management products, specifically infraEnterprise. Prior to joining EMC in August 2006, I held various management positions in Hewlett-Packard Company, working in the OpenView division and Enterprise Solutions Group. I was Director of Engineering for HP Systems Insight Manager, and before that Compaq Insight Manager. I have 6 patents on systems management technology and attended the University of Texas at Austin where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1999.
