UPDATE - Uninstalled and reinstalled as per what was posted here and there by Dell as a fix, but made no difference, anyone got any ideas please how i can fix this without completely having to wipe my computer and start again.

Check what version of AWCC you are running and try installing a different version.

Thanks ill give that a shot, i have tried reinstalling a few diff versions but no joy, i still get that error window, my fear was a problem with the mobo, however, other thermals apps work fine. its a weird one, literally when i went to bed it was fine, powered up the next day and it was broken, i cant even see anything that may have caused it.  but ill try what you say with the exact version and see what happens.

Look in the Windows event log and see if any system upgrades or other upgrades were installed around that time.

I have a feeling Windows update pushed an update on you that messed up the operation of AWCC.

Yes it did, it updated to build 19045 22H2.

That worked perfect, i shall remember that in future thankyou for the help. I run Opencore as my bootloader as im dual booted, to get opencore to boot i have to disable the factore installed secure boot keys in bios, however that is what stopped me even being able to reinstall AWCC, but yes youre solution worked a treat.  now i need to figure if theres a way to boot opencore with those keys enable or figure out which one is directly related to Dell software installations and delete the rest.

Ok so here is the cause of the problem -

Bios - Secure Boot, Management keys. Disabling them allows me to boot Opencore, But it also stops the Dell software from delivering updates and other apps like Command Center.  With the Keys enabled, All the software by Dell works as it should BUT stops Opencore from being able to boot by displaying a boot violation and will only allow windows boot manager to boot.

As im dual booted this is no good to me, Is there a way, to add a signature, append the cert for Opencore bootloader to work does anyone know, or indeed disable them and allow Command Center to operate.

Ive never been so restricted and locked down by any other motherboard in my life, Bit like Apple with their phones, i understand the need, for those with warranty etc, but theres lots of different operating systems and bootloaders people use these days, that youd think Dell could keep that in mind regarding Boot Policy.

If anyone can help me solve this Issue so i can use opencore and Command Center then you truly are a genius.

There's other bootloaders available for a dual boot system. Unless you need opencore for MacOs to boot, in which case the issue is with opencore forcing you to alter security settings to use the boot manager. It should not throw a boot violation when using the Management keys/secure boot.

You can try disabling the securebootmodel under opencore, but this will restrict which version of MacOs can boot as some need the Apple secure boot protocol to operate properly.
