(Redirected) Alienware X51 bios update fail
I was updating my BIOS when the update froze my computer. Since then, i haven't been able to open it. It stays open for about 1 and a half second before shutting down.
I can't even access the BIOS recovery menu.
i Tried to recover it from a usb drive, but my pc doesn't stay open long enough to be able to do anything.
what are my options?

An Aurora-R5 has the ability to flash the firmware directly from the BIOS (or at least the F12 boot-menu).
But its gonna have to BIOS-Post (start-up) first.
Try removing the CMOS battery for a while. Grab the Aurora-R5 PDF Service Manual.

Like I said, if you can't manage to get the motherboard to Post, so you can access F12 menu or BIOS menu, you will have to replace it.
There should also be a CMOS Reset jumper on the motherboard. Did you ever read Owner's Manual?
