m15 R3, high temperatures

hello, i just received my m15 R3 and immediately started to download warzone. I put on the overlay and it says my temps were 100 degrees on all cores! So, i benchmarked it with 3D mark Time Spy and i was getting a consistent 100 degrees C. I am pretty sure this is not normal. I tried to undervolt, but i dont think it's working since 10th gen cpu locked that option. I was able to do it in throttle stop but it didnt apply it as i was in cpu-z. I would check hwmonitor but for some reason, the motherboard was not picked up by hwmonitor so i couldnt see the voltages. I was wondering if its a defect laptop that needs to be replaced? or am i missing something here? Thanks.

First, run Dell ePSA Preboot System Assessment to check the Hardware and fans within the computer. You could do this by following steps in link below. Report back any error codes.

If there isn't any error code, I suggest installing the latest Alienware Command Center application, Chipset and video drivers from your Dell Product Support page.

    Drivers & Downloads

You could select Detect Drivers option in your Dell Product Support page. The Dell utility will search for the latest drivers, application and firmware for the computer.

    EDIT:

Thermal Controls give you access to your Alienware's management thermal system controls so you can monitor thermal status, adjust thermal control of system fans, and change the status of active venting.

This is official information from Dell about the high temperatures in Alienware systems.

Basically, you can run those tests listed to check your system, however, they basically state that Alienwares run a little hot and it is all under control, as long as there is no error from the diagnostics or you are noticing issues.

My m15 R3 runs between 80 and 100 degrees while gaming, 95 to 100 sustained in Cyberpunk 2077, but once I stop gaming, it cools down and stays in 40 to 50 degrees while browsing web, watching videos, playing music and so, actually right now that I typing this message, it running at between 41 and 45 degrees.

I was concerned as well, but until it doesn't represents a serious problem, I will take it as Alienware says, working as designed. I mean, we really can't compare an Alienware m15 R3 with other gaming laptop brands that rely in undervolting and reducing power of components to keep the temperature low, it is known that Alienware puts as much power as possible in their portable systems, and it has a thermal trade off.
