I bought the R6 in Oct 21. It came already pre-loaded with Windows 11. Windows 11 and gaming is just not a really nice fit at this time. Especially Fallout 76.
I have tried to do an operating system recovery, but surprise Dell doesn't have the Windows 10 image for my laptop, only the windows 11.
Has anyone tried to install windows 10 on their laptop, and have everything working as it needs to be?
I have backed up my laptop, and created a restore usb drive. I downloaded all the updates from Dell's site for my laptop for Windows 10.
I loaded windows 10 onto my system and installed all the apps/updates on the laptop. So far everything appears to be working great. All devices are shown in device manager, with no yellow explanation marks. Yay!
I have played a few games so far, and I haven't seen any issues. I am glad I was able to bump down to windows 10 without any issues.
If you are running Windows 11 and it works well, then Windows 10 will be fine, possibly even better.. You can download the media creation tool here and install Windows 10. And Windows 10 drivers are available here for your system.
I am not a Dell employee...I am forum volunteer

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
