Hi @bluehunter577 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

parts-people.com provide Dell OEM replacement parts.

It depends on where you're located and on the age of the systems.  Anything relatively new (under 2 years old) will likely have Dell as your only real source.  Anything over 4 years old, you'll need a parts supplier (in the US, parts-people.com), Ebay, etc.

    Hi @bluehunter577 ,

Its great to see a fellow user repairing the laptops themselves as it demonstrates how easily serviceable the laptops are. Anyways like @crimsom and @ejn63 said, depending on age and what model it is will equal what parts are avalible and who can supply them.

    Part list examples:

Batteries - Depending on model and if its over 8 years old, DELL doesen't have the parts. Amazon does and I always use Amazon.

Fans - Just like the batteries, if its above a couple of years old and the model is classified as legacy, it cannot be fixed by dell but Amazon and Parts-people should have it. I highly recommend you do look for alienware laptop for parts on Mercari or facebook so you always have spare parts lying around.

Displays and Keyboard with Mouse - This is really difficult as for my Alienware 15 r1 I was never able to find a part that was under $150 for just the keyboard and all the other wires to connect it on amazon. Dell couldn't help because it's now classified as legacy and I have to resort to other broken Alienware's or just eBay.

Motherboards - Parts-people and most likely eBay due to how many parts you could find.

Thanks for asking a question and have a goodnight.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
