I have an unknown device that I cannot find drivers on have my SDD failed and had do a clean install of Windows 11.
USB\VID_04c5&PID_11F3.
Looking at the Microsoft Catalog it says it is most likely a Realtek Semiconductor device. But I tried all the Realtek drivers and still there as unknown. Looking at the older threads I have tried the ON Screen display still nothing.
Hi @jsgoodrich25 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Support for Alienware x17 R1 Setup and Specifications Storage says there are two internal slots, Slot one supports M.2 2230/2280 PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe cards, and Slot two supports M.2 2230/2280 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe cards. The slots accommodate two single drives or a single RAID drive, consisting of two identical PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe cards.
The PC711 is PCIe Gen3 x4 so it does not matter which slot is used. PC/BC711 | SK hynix
At power-on: Does POST (Power On Self Test) give diagnostic light code. Does Screen work. Does Alienware Splash screen give F2 and F12 options. Does system boot into the Windows 11 operating system.
