SQL DB Cluster Configuration in Avamar
Hi All,
I am trying to install SQL DB Cluster backup in Avamar 7.1 but in "AvamarClusterConfiguration" option (Opened from .../avs/bin) from Client while selecting "Var Folder" (Created manually on Local Drive), it is showing below warning (1) so next to avoid this warning, I thought to select "Share Dir..." , share the same Var folder (\\Physical_node\Var) but still it is showing warning (2). I am unable to find anything in document related to this as of now. Kindly let me know what to select and how to proceed further. As of now, I have selected Var folder from Local Drive.

Yes, I used wizard as well as setup for cluster configuration. I mounted NAS shared path/folder from Isilon Box as Network Drive for storing client backup configuration, logs & var folder but I am not able to select NAS Shared Volume in "Shared Volume for the Cluster Client:" of "Avamar Windows Cluster Configuration" wizard and in "Shared volume for backup configuration and log files" in "Setup - Cluster Backup Agent for Windows". It is showing only Windows Cluster Volume but I do not want to use other Windows Cluster Shared Volume(s) which are using for database.

in windows you should see on the start menu some where the cluster config tool
on disk it is called - av_cluster_config_wizard
it is a bit different and takes care of that "var" issue.
I had to write a whole new doc on how to use it
