I am getting checkpoint failed mail alerts from backup server to my mail box.But if I got o events or logs ...i am not able to find any error messages regarding failed checkpoint.
I want to know something going wrong with celerra or something else. This is not happening everytime.
1) Is there sufficient space available on the storage pool where the checkpoint is getting created? If no space is left in the pool, checkpoint creation may fail
2) Are there any existing Checkpoints which were not deleted after the backup was done? If so and if the old checkpoints are no longer needed, please delete those checkpoints and try
3) Also, you may consider rebooting the control station
4) Next option will be to open a service request with EMC NAS support as they can check the logs and the issue with more details.
