RMS and Powershell – Originally posted By mike_b, 27 Feb 2011
mike _b - Hi All,
I'm attempting to use the script found in the last pages of the replay manager best practices guide but I'm hitting something that causes the error below.
At C:\mb\replscript.ps1:94 char:21
+ Add-VolumeAccessPath <<<< -SerialNumber $replayview.SerialNumber -Server $DestServerName -AccessPath $DriveLetter
+ CategoryInfo : InvalidResult: (2003db228:String) [Add-VolumeAccessPath], Exception
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : InvalidResult,SCCommandSet.Commands.DiskManagement.VolumeAccessPathAdd
I'm getting an env variable for the server name (2003db228) which also matches the server named defined in storage center.
Can anyone help me out with this?
bmiddaugh - Can you post your script? I just tested the script from the RMS 4 Best Practices document and it work perfectly
