Hello,
I asked this question about the edge switches last week, however, I also found out that in order to install our new DELL Compellent array, I need to enable NPIV on the CORE MDS 9509 switch. I have looked in powerlink and on cisco forums and it seems non disruptive. I just need a sanity check.
I am not ready to define the ports yet, however, I just want to enable npiv. My apologies if the question seems redundant. We are doing year end processing now and I cannot afford to be incorrect!
All I believe I have to do to is:
config t
enable npiv
cntl z
copy run start
