filing a complaint

want to file a complaint against your service reps.  I have had the worst service experience of my life.

Service #

Last week, my 8 month old Dell laptop had a virus.  I called last Wednesday and paid $130 for service even though it is under warranty.  This is less than 6 weeks after you had to replace the network card.  The network card was also weeks of fighting with you to fix it.

Last Wed, after being on the phone with you for 2.5 hours, she logged off my machine and shut down.  On Thursday, I booted up and the screen was hundreds of colors and scrolling.  I called and spent 1.5 hours on the phone arguing that you fixed the virus and broke the screen.  After hours of being on hold and not 1 technician asking 1 question about the screen, you said I could mail it in. I explained I cannot be without my laptop for another 2 weeks.

Then you said you could send me a service rep to my house.  They were supposed to call and schedule an appointment Friday or Monday.  Of couse, he didnt call until Tuesday (today). You also said they work flexible hours as people work.    He does not.  He then recommended I just leave my computer on the porch.  I said so you can steal it? anyone can steal it? how do I know I will get it back?  Then, he said he would meet me at lunch on Wed (tomorrow) at my office and fix it there.  He showed up today and of course I was not available. He left me nasty messages, was nasty to the office security and then closed my ticket with Dell.

I called back. I was put on hold for another hour.  I finally reached a horrible manager who said "She was the Manager" at least 10 times.  Her name is .  I asked for her boss and she lied and said that she had no boss.  When I asked if she is the CEO of Dell, she said yes.  And I said so Michael Dell works for you, and then she recanted.  Why LIE?  Its stupid!  She said my only option  was to get back in the queue, wait another 2-3 business days for an appointment to be scheduled and another 3-4 business days to get it fixed.  I said this was unacceptable and I would like to escalate.  She refused.

I asked her to have her manager call me tomorrow.  She first said he/she cannot do that. Then, they could but it was sometime between 10-7pm. Then she could give me a 2 hour window. Why LIE?

I want my computer fixed. You broke it. That is all. Just please be polite and FIX IT
