When you say GoTo opener I am assuming its some global launcher for the LogMeIn software stack?  If so can you help pinpoint where I might be able to download a trial and attempt to reproduce in my own lab?

More than likely we'll need to produce a SHA-256 hash of the exe file and get it added to your global exclusions.  The other option would be to white-list the application vendors certificate.  For more information on the certificate based exclusion please see How to Export an Application Signing Certificate on Windows and How to Add a Signing Certificate in Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise.

Thanks for the response @KDBoutelle.  I was able to do some searching and did find the article mentioning the incompatibility.  

What: Dell Support has received reports that attempting to run GoToAssist/GoToMeeting via a browser will cause GoToAssist/GoToMeeting to fail to launch.

Details: When downloading the GoToAssist/GoToMeeting launcher, if selecting "run" instead of saving or downloading executable directly to the local device, the launcher will fail to initialize. This occurs due to a bug in the CylancePROTECT Agent.

Users who choose to save or download the executable directly to the local device are not affected.

Dell & Cylance Engineering are working to resolve this issue with the Agent.

Affects: Users attempting to run the GoToAssist/GoToMeeting launcher directly from a web browser.

Work Around: Download the GoToAssist/GoToMeeting executable directly to the local device.

Thanks for the feedback on the workaround @KDBoutelle.  We're expecting a new version release to fully resolve this issue.  I'll ping the thread when I have information on release \ availability.  

I was able to use chat support and they confirmed that this is a bug with DDS and that it is a work in progress.

What we are doing in the meantime and to handle this going forward is a 2 step approach.

1. We are installing the enterprise/multi-user version of GoTo Opener on all existing workstations and putting this installation in our TS with SCCM. 
2. We are implementing new training for all staff to look for the "join" instead of "download" option for GoTo Meeting/Training instances. 

@SteveO1683 to answer your first question, I use this link to test the "download" and run option.

@SteveO1683, unfortunately, this: "Work Around: Download the GoToAssist/GoToMeeting executable directly to the local device." does not work and is easily tested and repeatable. 

The only thing that has worked is to add the certificate for the GoTo launcher executable to DDS as a global allow. This is working and will continue to work (I hope) unless/until LogMeIn changes their cert.
