Cannot change catalog source

OME is still referencing and old catalog file, which was changed and not reflecting the new updates contained within.

When I try to change the the catalog source to use the online source (or any selection for that matter), it does nothing.

No error, no change in preference. Just takes me back to the system update screen.

Using OME 1.1.0.6063. Patch was installed as well.

Has anyone else run into this or have a resolution for it?

Thanks

Hi and thanks for the question.

Does the download task start when a new catalog is selected? A New download instance starts in the execution history section.  Let me know if you see anything there.

    Thx!

Hi. No I do not see anything in the execution history. Last entry was from December when I did the first catalog load in testing a few things.

I wanted to change it to the ftp site and that's when I noticed this.

And OME still showing updates found from a catalog file no longer existing.

It is almost like it is stuck.

    Thanks

Ok, not sure what is going on with that.

You can try this to see if it helps.  Disclaimer: this involves restarting services and could impact other OME users or processes that might be going on.

    Do the following:

    - Close the browser

    - Do an iisreset  from a cmd/dos window.

    - Then restart DSM Essentials Task Manager service.

    - The try again

    Thanks,

    Rob

I had tried that. I ended up having to do a repair of OME this morning to fix it.
