So one question. The output of warranty report is showing the end dates for separate warranty that you have for the same server.
The current behavior is like this:
If you have multiple warranties associated to the same server and if one of the warranty is expiring then the mail contains information about all the associated warranties. It does filter out the warranties for same server.
We can look into how to make it better and send reports only specific to warranty which is expiring in further release.
Yes, and if that behavior explanation does not help, then I think we can get a support ticket opened so we can look at that service tag exactly to see if we can better understand it. For North America the number is 800-945-3355, but it may be different in your region.
for us as a customer it is important to know when a system will run out of support in advance. It is equal whether we have one, two or what-ever support-contracts for a system.
This issue is rather difficult and important in our company. So we have to count on the information coming from OME. But when we get information about asserted running-out-systems which have still valid warranty-contracts, the system get ignorred.
Following recommendation: Insert a button (or something equal) with which every user can decide whether he will get warranty-information about every single contract running out, or first when a system completely runs out of warranty.

Hi and thanks for the post.
Can you post a screen shot of the warranty email, but be sure to mask the personal info like service tags, etc.
Thanks much,
Rob
