What could be defekt?
Hey guys, I will get to the point of my Question shortly.
First up I'm a Alienware User for many Years now. In the Year 2012 I bought myself a standart Aurora R4 Desktop PC and never had any Problems whatsoever (Asside of Windows related issues).
Well until a short while that is. Never changing any spare parts probably wasn't a good idea either.
An Issue started to annoy me slightly, my Screen would turn black for a few seconds and after that a message in the bottom left would appear stating -
"Display-Treiber reagiert nicht mehr und wurde wiederhergestellt" Translation: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"
It started to happen more often and then every single time I booted the PC. So I thought to myself Upgradeing my NVidea Graphc Card Driver would fix the Problem. I was wrong. Nothing changed and it even got worse. I can't remember exactly wich Driver I upgraded from but my Graphic Card is:
NVidea GeForce GTX 560. So the one I updated to was the latest one a; 05.26.2016
The Problem occured more frequently and sometimes even forced my Computer to restart without me doing anything! That's when I thought the quite old Graphic Card probably needs to be changed.
A little bit too late though. My Computer crashed again and this time it wouldn't start. A loud Peeping Noise. Twice. So I Opened up the Case after plugging it. The Graphic card was easy to find as its one of the biggest part in there. This time anyways I was curious. I wanted to Note just how often it would make the beeping noise. But.. When I startet it. No beeping noise. The Fans would start and the LEDs of my Mouse and Keyboard would light up for a brief second. And then just turn off. This is the current state.
When I try to boot up. The fans start (Even the fans of the Graphic Card) and the LEDs light up. Just to be silenced again. Even when I try to boot it without the Graphic Card. So. My Question is. What could be defect. Is it "Just" the Graphic Card and a new one will fix the Problem. Or could something else be a problem as well?
I will try to reply to Questions as fast as I can.
I cannot Boot the System so please dont even consider trying to help me with something like this,
Thanks!
