Dell PowerVault220 & PowerEdge2900
We are facing last few months power vault box misbehaving !
As per tech support from dell saying that you will have to take backup of your drive & re-create RAID Configuration !
Also, alternate option for taking backup & I want to know how to re-configure RAID for our dell powervault220

For example, if using the latest PERCs, here's the info for doing a RLM :
You can change RAID levels and add capacity, we call it RAID Level Migration - see page 34 or the manual. - http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/storage/RAID/PERC6/en/PDF/en_ug.pdf
You can do it in the controller BIOS, or use the OpenManage Storage Administrator piece of the OMSA software if you already have it installed - See this section of that user guide - http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/software/svradmin/6.2/en/OMSS/vdmgmt.htm#wp1425859
