Neeta - Can you reply with the following:

1) How many LUNs are in the storage group you are adding these devices?
2) Are these regular LUNs?
3) What are the addresses of the new LUNs you are trying to add?
4) What version of Clariion Flare code are you running.
5) Anything special with the AIX configuration? Running HACMP, Veritas Volume Manager, etc. or just regular AIX?

Fishing for some more details that might shed light on this problem.

53 Luns are already added to the storage group

Address are 150,151,152,153

Release 19 patch 27

Regular AIX running.

What procedure do you follow when adding LUNs to this host.

1. Add LUNs to storage group on Navisphere
2. Run emc_cfgmgr on AIX host (or reboot?)
3. ls dev -Cc disk
4. powermt config; powermt save
5. powermt display dev=all

Could you please post up the outputs from steps 3 and 5?

Primus Solution :emc111635. resolved the problem and AIX can now see the luns assigned to it
