DTC Error while writing to Isilon Share
One of the application server when trying to write to our Isilon SMB share is getting below errors:
ERROR WRITING TO LOG: UnityService, CopyFileAction Error, Host: APP002-VP (::1), Parameters:, The network path was not found.
, Exception: Network access for Distributed Transaction Manager (MSDTC) has been disabled. Please enable DTC for network access in the security configuration for MSDTC using the Component Services Administrative tool
ERROR WRITING TO LOG: UnityService, CopyFileAction Error, Host: WEB025-VP (::1), Parameters:, Access to the path ' " \\XXXXX\XXXSCAN\Warehouse18\00003297\f0463577-1759-451c-8df6-e878badb73c70001.pdf' is denied., Exception: Network access for Distributed Transaction Manager (MSDTC) has been disabled. Please enable DTC for network access in the security configuration for MSDTC using the Component Services Administrative tool.
The question is we never had this error historically and why its asking to enable DTC now?. Is it some thing related to permissions/ Authentication / some bug in the One-fs version?.We got similar errors like 9 months ago but it was just like one or two random errors. Is there a way around to fix this with out enabling MSTDC or should we have to Enable MSTDC.
Thanks in advance!
