Hadoop compute node vs Isilon node
Hi,
I would like to know whether is there any restriction on number of compute nodes accessing the isilon node.
I had read in some blogs that for better performance max of 8 compute nodes for a single isilon node.
Is it true, is there any supporting document on this statement.

Hi dineshaj,
If I recall correctly, I believe it has more to do with your specific environment. There is a white paper that discusses sizing an Isilon cluster for a Hadoop compute grid. I don't work a lot with Hadoop so forgive me if that is not what what you are talking about.
