Hi. I own an Alienware Steam Machine with its preinstalled SteamOS (I haven't installed any other Operative System). It used to work without any kind of problem, but recently an error message appeared:  "SteamOS is attempting to recover from a fatal error" in loop: it tried to solve the error, then restarted but the same error appeared again and again

According to: support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php

the solution to this error in loop consists of recovering the system to its initial configuration.

I've entered in GRUB and used the SteamOS recovery partition, following the instructions in: <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

It was extremely fast, it tooks only 41 seconds, and everything seemed to be OK. When restarting, a message about installing drivers can be seen, but when the message dissapears nothing happens, only the Alienware logo can be seen. If I poweroff and try to start using GRUB nothing happens, only a blinking cursor at the left-upper square. I've tried to use this recovery partition several times, always with the same unsuccessful result. No error messages in any case.

I don't have any pendrive or any way to restore the system apart from the Recovery Partition. I'm a linux user, so I think I could install SteamOS by myself. However, I don't know what kind of patches are included in the preinstalled SteamOS of my Alienware Steam Machine. Moreover, I've bought a Steam Machine hoping that everything would work 'out of the box', just like a console.
