Help installing Linux Mint on my Dell OptiPlex 7090 SFF

I am trying to install Linux Mint 22.2 (w/Cinnamon) on my Dell OptiPlex 7090 SFF.

When I go into the boot menu and set the computer to boot from the USB boot drive, it simply locks up at a black screen when it tries to boot after the Linux boot menu.  When I select "compatibility mode" instead it gets just two lines into startup dialog and locks up at that same black screen.

I've used the install USB drive I created to install it on an old laptop first as a test, and it worked well, so I know the drive itself should work.

There's probably some settings in the BIOS menu I need to change, but I can't imagine what.  I disabled Secure Boot, in case there was a problem with that, but that didn't help.

Can anyone please assist me in figuring out what I need to do to install it on my computer?

(Ideally I want to set it up for a dual-boot with Windows 11, which is already on the computer, and Linux Mint 22.2, but if that's not feasible I will just set it to Linux only).
