firstly, id like to apologise if this isn't in the correct forum. I'm not sure whom or where to ask my questions to. I would like to purchase a laptop but i dont want to put windows on it. I'd like to install a linux distro. and hence not have to pay for a windows license. I was told that DELL actually sold there lappies without an OS for people who want to put linux distros on them. However, when i called Dell Support (I live in Australia) they told me that DELL didn't do that. I would like to know if this is true or not? Or where or what i can do to purchase without an os on it... kind regards
