Alienware Aurora Airflow

I'm upgrading my blower style GPU to a GTX 970, and wanted to get something like the Asus Strix or the MSI 970, but wanted to know if the Alienware Aurora R4 with the ALX chassis has good enough airflow for an open air style GPU like those ones.

I've heard that open air GPUs require good airflow and multiple fans, so i'm not sure if I should get one of those or just the reference 970. Can anyone with the Alienware Aurora tell me if you've had good experience using those kind of GPUs in your computer?

We didn’t validated that video card for the Aurora R4 but for sure it has a good air flow.

So I will be fine using the MSI 970 or the Asus 970?

If I use the open air GPU will the fans be running noticeably louder? If so then i'll just get reference.

Rear-exhaust reference model is best, but this should be fine also.

Turn-up PCIe fan, and try it with and without hinged plastic cover.
