Audigy 2 functionality

I have an XPS 400/9150. Did an OSRI and installed drivers in proper order( DSSW, chipset, vid, audio, network, etc). Pulled the drivers from Dell site and Audigy driver is a bit goofy. I installed Audigy 2 ZS drivers from Creative's site, but I don't have the full functionality I did before hand. I can playback audio, but I don't have some of the advanced features. I am sure I am missing a step somwhere in the dell site drivers for the Audigy, but I can't seem to figure out what. I don't have the cd as the KB suggests. Any clues?

I am missing the ability to adjust the bass and the treble in the audigy volume control. I also think I am missing some other options, but I hadn't had a chance to mess with them too much so I'm not sure.

I did try the Dell drivers zip, but that didn't work so that's why I tried them from the Creative site. And, yes, this the audigy 2 zs.
