Backup: Dell-Installed Programs
I lost my hard drive and had to install a new one. I have lost
my Norton Antivirus. How to I install it from my
Backup: Dell-Installed Programs CD? The CD will only run
so far and then shut down. My system is not protected from
viruses. Any help would be appreciated.

fastalker1,
At the opening screen when you start the Backup: Dell-Installed Programs you click "Next" to get to the menu screen. Scroll down on the left until you see Norton Antivirus. Click to select it, then click Install. If you have done this, do you receive any error messages or does the CD simply run for a bit then quit?
You might try closing all running programs before installing NAV to see if that corrects the problem.
