CLIENT MAC ADDR

I have a Dimension 8200 and when I try to boot-up I get this:

CLIEN MAC ADDR:  00 02 B3AAF0D7        GUID:  44454C4C-3300-1033-8033-

                                                                                                     -CAC04F4C3131

PXE-E53:  No boot filename received

PXE-M0F:  Exiting Intel Boot Agent

Strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility

What does this mean and how do I fix this so that my computer will boot.

Which operating system are you using?  If XP, then boot from the CD, enter the Recovery Console (press R at first stable screen).  Once you are logged on to Windows, then run FIXBOOT and after that FIXMBR.  If by chance the Recovery Console does not recognize a version of Windows on your machine, then your only recourse will be to do a re-install of Windows.  If it is not XP (or 2K), good luck.

You system is trying to boot thru the network card.  This is an indication that it cannot "see" the hard drive.  Boot to the BIOS & check to see the HDD is actually identified.  If it is listed as UNKNOWN, then turn on Caps Lock, Num Lock & Scroll lock, press ALT+E then ALT+F then ALT+B to reboot & see if system boots to the HDD.

If you still canot get the HDD detected, I'd contact tech support.
