Dell Wireless Keyboard & Optical Mouse

Where can I find the most up to date drivers and software for this device? I can't find it anywhere. Can the programmable keys be reprogrammed?

Thanks!

If you have the same wireless keyboard and mouse combo i have, the keys are not programable.  I have the Dell wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse.  It has 8 labeled function keys across the top and a volume knob with media buttons surrounding it on the top right corner.  As i have said these buttons are not programmable according to the literature i received with my combo.  If you find a way to program i would love to know also.  I know the "music" button on mine used to open music-match jukebox, however i prefer useing windows media player so when i changed the file associations that button no longer opened music-match jukebox.  Now it opes a Creative Mixer.  That would lead me to believe that you can manipulate the buttons some-how...

Yup that's the same keyboard and mouse combo that I have. Well I tried downloading the software and drivers from the logitech website I think the link is in the FAQ at the top of the forum. I was able to reprogram some of the function keys but now some of them don't work. Only the "Home", "Mail", and "Media buttons" work. The media buttons can be used for a number of different programs including, music-match, winamp, windows media player, real one, quicktime, etc. It's too bad the other buttons don't work anymore though.

If you figure out another place to get the software for this exact keyboard and mouse combo let me know!

Thats too bad on those other buttons, I'd like to be able to assign them myself as well.  Were you able to change the assignment of the button that looks like a musical note, mine just opens up the mixer...I'd like to get it to open an actual media program other than musicmatch jukebox...  Other than the programing issues (and the fact that there is no sleep button) I'm quite satisfied with the unit.  Let me know if you learn anything more...  Thanks

The link below is where I got the drivers/software for our keyboard/mouse combo. Yes, it is to bad you can't assign ALL of the buttons. And yes, the button that looks like a musical note gives you the option to open any of the media programs that I mentioned above and a few more players.

I just wish I can find the exact drivers/software that allows you to reprogram the buttons for this exact combo.

I just got the Dell Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.  Key board model RT 7040.

None of the 8 function keys on my keyboard work.

How do I turn this feature on.

Key board and mouse work fine.

The only functions that seem to work are the "Home" button and the "Mail" button and the sound controls on the right side. Anyone know where we can find the correct drivers for this Dell wireless keyboard and mouse?

    thanks!
