DELL_SWEQ Service DisplayCurrentReading Error Msg
Running Windows 8.1 Pro on an XPS 18.
At getting the final Microsoft package to bring my Windows 8.1 on the Update level to get further updates after May 13, the install failed. So I went through very many steps to get the package installed. Obviously, perhaps while cleaning up my registry something in the Dell software is damaged. After boot the first time I start some program or tool, a small windows appears on my screen, telling me:
DELL_SWEQ Service DisplayCurrentReading Error Msg: Not found (In German: Nicht gefunden).
I ran the Dell Diagnostics and updated MyDell, but the message keeps coming again and again. At clicking it away, it returns immediately.
How can I get rid of it?

I am having the same issue, it happened after the last Windows patching that occurred, never seen this before, when it triggers, I have to hard power off the AIO PC to get it to stop and it randomly crops up again.

Because the problem was not solved, I was forced to take the draconian step by uninstalling/deactivating all my Dell tools and applications. Since then my XPS 18 runs well again under Windows 8.1.
But it is unfortunate, that I cannot longer really seek help at the DELL support.
