DImension 8400 Won't boot up.

My Dimension 8400 did not start when i press the power button. The light of the power button is blinking in orange color. What should i need to do?

Most likely the power supply has died. Call Dell support and have it replaced if it's still under warranty. Do a search in this forum using the key words "amber" and "blinking" to find out what others have tried to fix this problem.

I'm having the same problem. I took it to Fry's electronics and they looked it over for 70 bucks. Everything was fine they said. They got it to boot up 2 times in front of me. I get the darn thing home, works fine for a day. The next morning Same thing! They told me my power supply was good still. I'll be taking it back again.
